With their backs against the wall, facing bankruptcy…

Ray Kroc, the Founder of McDonalds came up with a unique idea and made
one simple change.
Today, this change is known as
“The McDonald Method”
And, look at what a difference it made!
That same year, their profitability soared and they expanded to 40 locations…

By the end of 1959, just two years later, they had 145 profitable locations throughout the country…
And by 1970, “The McDonalds Method” had helped them grow to 1,500 profitable locations…
Today, McDonalds has more than 38,000 locations world wide…
Each and every one of them, wildly profitable.
They didn’t change a single thing about their product…
Their menu is the same today as it was in 1954…

Hi my name is Ian Hart…
I’ve spent the last 15 years of my life building fitness companies.
And there isn’t much I haven’t seen.
I founded my fitness company in 2009 with a small 700 square foot space…
And expanded 7 times in 12 years with 3 locations…

Ray decided to create the “McDonald’s Real Estate Company”…
With it, he bought land for every single future McDonald’s location…
And then… this part is genius… he made it a company requirement that each McDonald’s location from that point forward could only be built on land that was leased from the “McDonald’s Real Estate company”.

This provided the company with immediate and reliable cash flow…
It set McDonald’s apart from the competition by not requiring their franchisee’s to find and purchase their own land…
And, it did not interfere with how McDonald’s operated their day-to-day business in any way.
It was perfect.

And, it made McDonald’s into the company it is today…
